Global citizen

To begin with I would like to say a little bit of who I am and what this blog is suppose to be about. Since I was young, I lived in many different countries. I was practically born traveling and in that sense have been lucky to continue to do so. This choice to travel was made in the young years of my life but I have learned to embrace this as an essential part of my identity that has shaped me into the person that I am today.  I am ever so grateful for this unique way of life. I am aware of this privilege and for every life experience I have obtained in the process.  Of course it would be wrong to say that I do not feel like I belong anywhere. I do belong to many places and I have been lucky to call many places my home. But what I have discovered over the years is that many times my sense of belonging is not attached to a particular "place" but rather it is linked to a "who I am with" or "surrounded by".  For me my family is my home, no matter wh...
